The Inspiration Behind Our Dance Programming
TME Director Dance Teaching Artist
JORDYN SCHETTINO
As the director of TME, I bring over a decade of experience in designing and leading dance programs for all ages, from toddlers to adults. My background includes a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography, K–12 Dance Education certification, and an MA in Dance Education from Towson University. Before founding TME, I taught and developed dance curricula for public schools and community university programs.
My teaching philosophy is to honor each dancer’s individuality. For young children, I use structured play to build foundational skills joyfully. With older students and adults, I focus on personalized instruction that provides a strong sense of body awareness and encourages expressive artistry. My goal is to empower dancers to integrate creative qualities that deeply resonate within technical dance forms.
