Policies & Procedures

Parent Observation: We strongly believe that class time is a laboratory for self-discovery and expression. We kindly request the reservation of parental observation for the Informal Performance. Thank you for your understanding and regard for the quality of dance education we aim to provide to our community.

Performances: All classes will hold an Informal Performance on the last day of class in studio where friends & family are invited into the studio to observe the dancer's learning and growth.

Standard Student Attire: The regulation of student attire aids in forming a sense of community and belonging amongst students. To maintain a studio environment that is intended for learning, growth, and community, we encourage formal dance attire that is distinguished from dance costume and play. Upon registering, you will receive a student handbook with class specific attire.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available through the first week of the session. Beginning 1 week after the session start date, tuition is non-refundable but may be transferred to a future session.

Facility Closures: TME will follow MCPS closures. For all unscheduled facility closures due to inclement weather, make-up classes will be offered at the end of the session.

Class Cancelation: All TME classes and workshops must meet the minimum requirement of three participants in order to remain on the TME schedule. Any class below the minimum requirement will be canceled until further notice.
