Jordyn Schettino (BFA, MA)
Founder & Director, Instructor
With more than a decade of teaching experience, Jordyn specializes in creative dance education and individualized instruction. She loves working with dancers at every stage of life, from curious toddlers taking their first dance class to adults discovering (or rediscovering) the joy of movement. Her background in ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom, and social dance combined with experience teaching in public schools and community dance programs, has shaped a teaching philosophy that values creativity, curiosity, and strong technical foundations.
Nora
Instructor
Nora has been dancing for nearly 16 years and has been teaching ballet for the past 3 years. She enjoys working with students of all ages and finds the greatest joy in watching their self expression and technique grow over time. Her training at Rockville Civic Ballet, Orlando Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) has shaped a thoughtful approach to teaching that emphasizes strong fundamentals, artistry, and a love of learning. In her free time, Nora enjoys line dancing and has recently begun sharing her love of the style with her students.
Rachel
Instructor
Rachel has been dancing since the age of 5 and has been teaching since 2017. Growing up dancing salsa, merengue, and bachata, she developed an early appreciation for dance as both an art form and a way to connect with others. Today, she enjoys sharing that passion with students of all ages, helping them build confidence, develop strong technique, and explore a variety of dance styles. Her background spans ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, Latin jazz, and social dance. Her certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Acrobatic Arts, and personal training have shaped a well-rounded approach to teaching that encourages growth and enjoyment in every class.
Shay
Instructor
Shay began her movement journey as a child with figure skating before discovering her passion for dance. Growing up in Miami sparked a love for Afro-Latin music and dance that has stayed with her ever since. Her dance background also includes training in ballet, contemporary, and West African dance. Shay enjoys teaching salsa, bachata, and merengue to people of all ages and has shared these styles through community events, dance festivals, summer intensives, and school wellness programs. She believes dance is for all bodies and is passionate about making movement accessible in a variety of spaces.
